I’m not really exactly sure what the point of this blog is yet but I recently realized that I didn’t have a resume, nor did I have a portfolio. Not having to think about it too much, a blog seemed to be the easiest and quickest way to compile, organize and keep all of my work, then easily distribute and share.
What’s strange is that I never really made it a habit of keeping records of my work. It’s probably because I’ve always been busy doing something, or that every time I put my pencil down I get a call or an email from a friend or former client, or both, with a new project or referring me to one of their close friends to take on a project and somehow we always tend to bypass the standard formalities and quickly get to the goods. I do love that. In any event, it’s going to be a bit of a mission and challenge.
A quick retro audit down memory lane indicates that my work spans a spectrum of medium, style, culture and lifestyle that falls in line with the Long Tail Theory. There’s a lot of it out there in the cultural poposphere, and I will find it.
I suppose this blog is something like a treasure hunt and an adventure. While searching for and finding evidence of inspirational moments in my 17+ years creative career, and hopefully remembering projects I’ve long forgotten about, I hope to meet myself back in time, at various points in my life and if I’m lucky, we’ll have time for a bit of conversation and bring it all around to complete a full circle.
At the moment, this blog’s theme is quite simple and standard, and it may stay like that for a while. It is something like a side project so I’ll get to the aesthetics at one point.

For now, I’ll focus on the substance.
